The Leipzig Ring Cycle 2020
The Ring on stage like never before! Leipzig, the birthplace of Richard Wagner himself, will present one Ring cycle next year on four consecutive days. It is almost unheard of for an opera house to present over fifteen hours of the Ring operas in only four days. The Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, one of the great orchestras of the world, will be present, conducted by Oper Leipzig’s Intendant and General Music Director Ulf Schirmer.
