The wide variety of slopes guarantees unbeatable skiing fun for everyone: Gentle slopes for beginners, easy-going ones for families and senior citizens, fun-filled and instructive slopes for children, cool runs for slope-dancers or fans of the new-school technique or simply steep and extreme descents for madcap carvers and pros. Ten ski schools in and around Innsbruck will be happy to introduce you to the fabulous world of winter sports or help you improve your technique in theory and practice. Skis and boots as well as any other necessary equipment are also available here for rent. Moreover, the countless rustic inns and mountain huts dotted across this unique Tyrolean winter sports region guarantee their guests a warm and hospitable welcome.

What's really special about Innsbruck and its ski villages is that you automatically become a member of this winter wonderland from your first night's stay with the "Club Innsbruck Card". Not only are holders of this advantageous card entitled to reductions on ski-passes and single lift rides, but they may also make free use of ski and cross-country busses. Don¡¯t forget the advantages of the "Innsbruck Card" either. This card is available at an extremely reasonable price for either 24, 48 or 72 hours and enables holders to use public transport in Innsbruck and Hall free of charge as well as grants free ascent/descent on the Nordkette, Patscherkofel and Hungerburg cable-cars (without winter sports equipment). The Innsbruck Card also opens the doors to the city's museums and sights.

Arlberg - The cradle of skiing ( accommodation)

Arlberg The Cradle of Skiing

The Arlberg in Austria is a skier's paradise with a guarantee of snow from the end of November to the beginning of May

The Arlberg region offers excellent hospitality for active holidays in a mountainous area & 260 km of the best prepared downhill pistes and approximately 180 km deep-snow and 'firn' slopes offering winter fun for skiers and snowboard enthusiasts.

Lech - Dreaming of winter magic

"More space - more time" is Lech's motto. This is confirmed by all those who have had skiing holidays in Lech because they always come back again. Chic and yet romantic, informal and extremely hospitable. These are just a few of the many qualities which Lech presents to its enthusiastic visitors. There is the main town of Lech which is exuberant and lively; Oberlech is a car-free area and is considered to be the suntrap of Arlberg; then there is the idyllic and romantically situated village of Zug and finally Stubenbach, sleepy and informal.

Z¨¹rs - The sunny side of the Flexenpass

The luxury of enjoying exclusive skiing begins above 1700 meters. Wide slopes alternate with mogul pistes, powder snow and steep descents as well as family slopes and numerous ice-cream cafes, which entice you to indulge in some apres-ski. Finally, treat yourself in one of the top restaurants in the evening.

Cosy Stuben welcomes you

The name of Stuben, meaning living room, says it all. Developing from a warm little Stube over 200 years ago, today the village of Stuben offers comfort, and above all, a skier's paradise, which also includes the opportunity to ski off-piste with plenty of deep-snow runs for enthusiasts. Dream of the next day's adventures as you end your skiing with good food while the open fire burns and crackles.

St. Christoph - Highly exhilarating

St. Christoph lies at an altitude of 1800 meters, higher than almost any other village in the Alps. You will be staying in the middle of the ski area, so clip on your skis and off you go! The village offers twice the fun - fantstic skiing during the day & hearty Tirolean and gourmet cuisine with excellent wines in the evening.

St. Anton - The cosmopolitan village

A Tyrolean mountain village where tradition and modernity go hand in hand. This is particularly demonstrated in our hospitality and cosmopolitan attitudes. Here you can enjoy pristine nature of the world of gigantic peaks and, at the same time, the comforts of an international holiday resort. Winter here is a stunning snowy paradise, which enjoyed an international reputation even before the village held the Alpine ski champtionships in 2001.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis - Paradise for kids!

Paradise for kids

A magical learning experience - Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is home to Europe's most family-friendly ski area!

There must be something magical behind it all. There is no other explanation for why children are suddenly turned into perfect carving artists after only a week of ski school in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Parents note their progress with a mixture of pride and envy. Yet it is not witchcraft that turns roly-poly tumblers into small ski angels. Rather it is the method and manner of childcare provided by the enthusiastic people of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

In the ski region (at an elevation of 1500 metres), well over 140,000 m2 of slopes are reserved exclusively for children. In Serfaus, the winter paradise is called "Kinderschneealm" and is situated on Komperdell mountain. In Fiss, "Berta¡¯s Kinderland" is located directly next to the middle station of the Sonnenbahn cableway. 250 ski instructors with educational training playfully and good-naturedly teach children to ski and snowboard in their own languages. One method that they use to instruct the Ski and Snowboard pupils is called "The Easy Birth". The secret: if a child does not feel like participating, he or she can play or watch the clowns. The children's own ambition is enough to move them to catch up quickly on what they have missed and still achieve the learning target.
