Hawaiian Hot Luau Poolside

Hawaiian Hot Luau! "Imperial-style," Las Vegas' only authentic poolside Luau and Polynesian revue, heats up seasonally (April through October) Tuesdays and Thursdays, at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in the heart of the action-packed Las Vegas Strip.

For the 10th consecutive year, The Imperial Palace presents Luaus on the Shangri-La pool deck, complete with beautiful tropical setting, lavish seafood buffet and exciting entertainment. The "spirit of aloha" fills the air, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., weather permitting, April through mid-October.

The admission price includes an extravagant Polynesian-style seafood dinner buffet, with unlimited Mai Tai and Pina Colada exotic drinks, and non-alcoholic fruit punch, followed by an exhilarating and colorful music and dance revue, presented by Rozita Lee's "Drums Of The Islands."

Hawaiian Hot Luau! "Imperial-style" captures the spirit and pageantry of the islands, with the romantic call of the conch shells, ceremonial lighting of the torches and island lei greeting.

The elegant Lance Burton Theater is an 1,200-seat opera house that makes a splendid long-term home for a nice guy from Kentucky who worked his way up the ranks from specialty act to star.

Lance Burton is a charmer with the ladies, and works youngsters into the show like no other act on the Strip.

Unfortunately, the small magic - the sleight of hand and close-up tricks that earned him the prestigious Gold Medal from the International Brotherhood of Magicians - is lost from way up it the balcony.

Still, the major illusions, such as making cars disappear, are downright stunning.

"Not for the faint of heart!" Volunteers are invited onto the stage; "Dr. Naughty" rapidly hypnotizes the group and quickly unmasks the volunteers' interesting personality traits. He then demolishes their inhibitions. While his assistants dress the participants in quick-change costumes "Dr. Naughty" is busy setting the stage and hypnotically implanting the suggestions. Then "Dr. Naughty" counts to three, and at the snap of his fingers he triggers hilariously naughty "Hypno-Sketches" into action.

There is NO lewd behavior or frontal nudity and noone is ever forced to come on stage. Very funny and unpredictable!
