This year's Calgary Stampede (July 6-15, 2007 ) promises to be better than ever. With all the regular events plus new and exciting features, it will be even more spectacular.

For so many the highlight of the Stampede is Parade Day on Friday July 6 th . This year there will be over 160 entries partaking in this wonderful parade, that will be televised to almost two million viewers. The parade provides two hours worth of intricate floats, marching bands, western riders and more, and is of universal appeal.

The price of gate admission includes entrance to a plethora of events.

Our agriculture displays are all about sport, education and entertainment!


Rodeo Royal


Rodeo Royal is one of the first stops on the Canadian Professional Rodeo calendar for 2007 and the CPRA rules apply.  This rodeo is also part of the Canadian Tour, the Duane Daines Saddle Bronc Series and the Kenton Randle Bareback Series.  With $25,000 added per event it is the richest regular season indoor rodeo in Canada and by the final bull ride over $200,000 will be won.  Each winner of the six major events also earns a position at the Calgary Stampede for 2007 so the stakes are high.

The six major events ?Bareback, Bull Riding, Ladies Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling, and Tie-Down Roping are the backbone of Rodeo Royal. Add in Cattle Penning, Novice Bareback, Novice Saddle Bronc and Wild Pony Racing for the youngsters and Rodeo ?full blast.
